A new West End production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, is returning to the stage in Summer 2019!

Since the producers announced they were planning a brand new production of Joseph at the end of last year, I have been asked about 10 times a day if I was going to be in it. Well, at long last, I can finally tell you all I AM! Previews will start on June 27 and the opening night will be 11 July and it will run for 11 weeks. Many of you will have heard me say on the Midlife Crisis Tour that you never know the measure of a moment until it becomes a memory, and what a moment that was for me. Joseph was a ground breaker in 1991, and what a blast it will be to be back on the prestigious Palladium stage and be part of it all again with a brand new cast in this re-imagined 2019 production. I’m looking forward to breathing new life into Pharaoh and I’m so relieved he doesn’t wear a loin cloth! The rest of the cast will be announced soon and no doubt you’ll be hearing more about it all in the fullness of time.
